1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and server-side logs tied to your browser requests.

2. How we use cookies and similar tech

2.1 Strictly necessary / functional

The static site may use minimal storage in your browser for normal page behaviour (for example, content delivery or caching behaviour controlled by the browser). Our hosting provider may set session or security cookies on its own domain for routing, bot management, or HTTPS. These support delivery and security of the site.

2.2 Third-party requests (important)

The HTML loads Google Fonts from Google (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser may send technical data (e.g. IP address, user agent) to Google when fetching CSS and font files. Google may use data according to Google’s Privacy Policy.

What you can do: block third-party requests in your browser, use a privacy extension, or self-host fonts (the open-source repo lets you change the template if you fork the site build).

2.3 Analytics

We do not rely on advertising cookies for this free curriculum site. If we add analytics (e.g. aggregate page views), we will list the provider, cookies or identifiers used, and retention here and in the privacy policy.

Using github.com to view or contribute to the repository is covered by GitHub’s cookie policy, not this document.

4. Your choices

Browser settings: block or delete cookies.
Do Not Track: we do not operate a custom ad network; DNT has limited standardisation—use browser controls and extensions as needed.
