1. What we process and why

1.1 Website visitors (hosting and CDN)

When you load pages, our hosting provider and/or CDN (for example Vercel or a similar edge network) typically processes technical data such as IP address, approximate location, user agent, referrer, timestamps, and request URLs. Purposes: deliver the site, security (abuse detection), reliability, and limited diagnostics.

Legal basis (UK GDPR): legitimate interests in operating a secure public website, and (where applicable) performance of steps at your request prior to a contract (browsing a free site).

1.2 Fonts and third-party requests

The site may request Google Fonts stylesheets and font files from Google. Google may process technical data as described in their policies. See Cookie policy.

1.3 GitHub

If you clone, star, fork, open issues, or contribute, GitHub processes account and usage data under GitHub’s privacy policy. We receive what you submit on issues/PRs (username, comments, code).

Legal basis: legitimate interests in maintaining an open-source project; for contributions, performance of the open-source collaboration and licence terms in CONTRIBUTING.md.

1.4 Email or phone contact

If you email or call us, we use your contact details and message content to respond and keep minimal business records.

Legal basis: legitimate interests; where you are a prospective customer, legitimate interests / steps prior to contract.

1.5 Optional analytics (if enabled)

We may enable privacy-oriented analytics on the static site in the future. If we do, we will update this policy and the cookie policy to name the tool, data categories, and retention.
